WELCOME TO MY WEBSITE

Webmaster's Grandad Ernest Carter 2nd from the left

Welcome to my personal webspace. Contained within these pages you will find our Family Album, Links to my favourite websites, and various other information I find of interest to me.

The surname Carter is an occupational name meaning "a maker or driver of carts". The family motto is: VICTRIX PATIENTIA DURIS (Latin) - meaning "patience is victorious in hardship".

As you can probably tell from the flag on the left our family originates from Wales. Although today some of the family now reside in England.

Please us the menu on the left to navigate around this website. If you require any family information or history please contact me.

Please look at the links on the left for various website designs I have completed or are in progress. If you interested in having a website built, designed and/or hosted please contact me.

Can you imagine what it would be like if you couldn't understand speech? How would you cope? We all hope that our children will be able to talk to us, but for some children this can be a problem.

Makaton maybe the answer. Makaton uses signs and symbols to teach communication, language and literacy skills to people with communication and learning difficulties. It can also be used in the development and communication in young babies/children to get their message accross (baby sign). For further information visit the Makaton website HERE.

What is H4H all about? It's about the blokes. It's about Derri, a rugby player who has lost both his legs, it's about Carl whose jaw is wired up so he has been drinking through a straw. It's about Richard who was handed a mobile phone as he lay on the stretcher so he could say goodbye to his wife. It is about Ben, its about Steven and Andy and Mark, its about them all. They are just blokes but they are our blokes; they are our heroes. We want to help our heroes. - Bryn Parry Appeal Chairman
