I work for the Ambulance Service in the UK as an ECA (Emergency Care assistant). Working on a front-line ambulance with Paramedics and Technicians. I hope to start training as a Technician in the not to distant (or it may be distant) future. Previous to this I was a driving instructor, I’ve worked with the Police and I have also worked in engineering (buyer/systems manager), and IT. I’ve done a few other jobs too having left school at 16.

I'm a family man with two kids, originally from Wales but moved to the Berkshire area with my parents when I was 9 years old. I currently live in Wargrave, Berkshire, which is near Henley-on-Thames. One of my passions is Karate which I have been practising since 1976 and teaching since 1990. Here is my club website www.shuridojo.com. I hope you visit.

My interests include running, weight training, hiking, watching F1, which I have done so from a very early age. Motorbikes of which I have been riding since I was 8 years old. Competing off-road, solo and side-car (with my Dad), and riding road bikes too. I used to play a bit of Rugby too.

One of the places we love to visit as a family is Cornwall. We try to visit there at least once a year. We’ve just returned from 2 weeks there (July). It was hotter and much busier than usual. One of the things I love to do is run along the cliff tops and along the beach. I can really ‘lose’ myself when I do this. This year I ran along to Penhale Army Camp. They have a great assault course there. So as you can imagine I availed myself of the facilities. Great fun.......
